Hi there!
For those of you who don’t me, my name is Mr. Winik. I am the Grade 7/8 Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher for our school. Among the many things I like to do, I enjoy watching movies, playing sports (basketball and squash especially), and working with computers and travelling
I enjoy teaching students and challenging them about the way they think about their world. I am really excited to be using blogs as part of my teaching at this level and I hope my students enjoy it as well.

Welcome to the edublogosphere. My students are loving their blogs and making conversation with students around the world.
I also love travelling and have visited both Canada and the USA as well as many countries in Asia and Europe. I thoroughly enjoyed climbing through the pyramid in Egypt when I was a bit younger and with less grey hair.

Thanks for checking out my blog! Its nice to have some feedback. I have travelled throughout Europe and have been to Australia and New Zealand. I have yet to visit the pyramids in Egypt. It is on my list of places to go.
